LAI Post-Primary & Adolescent Literacy Professional Learning Network
Literacy requires support beyond the primary school years. In the past year, a range of educators working in post-primary schools have called for a renewed focus on the challenges and opportunities provided by teaching literacy with adolescent learners. This new Professional Learning Network aims to:
-
Promote best practices in the teaching and learning of literacy and digital literacy in post-primary education.
-
Facilitate professional dialogue, networking, and collaboration among members with shared interests.
-
Support and disseminate research in adolescent literacy, including reading, writing, digital literacy, disciplinary literacy, multiliteracies and other such aspects of literacy as the PLN members deems relevant to the sector.
